Spores are supplied as spore prints on heavy foil. Each print is individually packaged and prepared for clean, stable storage. Spore print size and density may vary by species and variety.
Psilocybe cubensis Albino A+ is a leucistic cubensis strain rather than a true albino. Unlike PF Albino, Albino A+ retains normally pigmented spores, and a small amount of pigment is still present in the fruit bodies. The pale appearance comes from reduced pigmentation, not a complete absence of it.
The very pale cream to white cap and stem coloration, bluish tones, intense blue bruising and dark spore deposit make it visually distinct from more standard golden-brown cubensis strains such as Golden Teacher and Tidal Wave. The original print was provided by E-V-da-B.
Habitat: bovine and equine dung, and enriched soils
Climate: subtropical
Origin: leucistic mutation of the A strain
Cap: very pale cream, especially in the center, to white, often with bluish tones and sometimes with a sharp central nipple. Universal veil remnant spots may be present but are usually inconspicuous against the pale cap surface.
Stem: similar in coloration to the cap, pale cream to white, bruising intensely blue where damaged. The partial veil leaves a persistent membranous annulus that can become colored purple by spores at maturity.
Gills: attachment adnate to adnexed. Grayish in young fruit bodies, becoming dark purplish brown to nearly black as spores mature.
Spores: dark purple to dark purplish brown in deposit.
