Psilocybe cubensis Corumba Brazil Spore Syringe

Category: Cubensis Spore Syringes

Description

Spores are supplied in sterile aqueous solution using 10 ml Luer-Lok syringes. One 40 mm 16ga needle is provided for each spore-filled syringe.

Psilocybe cubensis Corumba Brazil originates from Mato Grosso do Sul in the Pantanal region of Brazil, near the Pantanal wetlands along the Paraguay River. The name connects the strain with the Corumbá region in western Brazil, close to the Bolivian border and the tropical wetland environment of the Pantanal.

Corumba Brazil is one of the more distinctive South American cubensis strains in the Sporeworks.EU catalog. Corumba Brazil is observed to be a fast-colonizing and adaptable strain, with especially large mushrooms appearing from the second flush onward and strong spore production that makes it a productive cubensis syringe choice.

Habitat: bovine and equine dung, and enriched soils

Cap: often acutely umbonate, with a sharply pointed cap shape strongly associated with this variety. This pointed cap profile gives Corumba Brazil a distinctive look within the broader Psilocybe cubensis group.

Stem: typical Cubensis form, yellowish to pale buff, bruising bluish where damaged. Stem thickness and hollowness may vary by specimen maturity and source material.

Gills: attachment adnate to adnexed, darkening as spores mature.

Spores: dark purplish brown, subellipsoid, produced on 4-spored basidia.

For the same Corumba Brazil strain in print format, see the Psilocybe cubensis Corumba Brazil spore print.

Corumba Brazil fits well in collections with strains such as Ecuador, Taman Negara and Fiji.
It is also part of the fixed Corumba Brazil, Ecuador and Taman Negara 3 Pack.
